By following a few lifestyle changes, being diligent with your skincare routine and using some DIY face packs for dry skin you can totally change the way your skin feels and looks.

Factors that make dry skin worse​

  2. Using skin care products with alcohol
  3. Not drinking enough water

1. Strawberry + oatmeal + honey face pack​

Step 01: Start by mashing some ripe strawberries in a mixing bowl.

Step 02: Add one tablespoon of crushed oats and half a tablespoon of honey to it.

Step 03: Mix all the ingredients together to form a paste and apply it all over your face and neck area.

Step 04: Once the face pack is dry or after 20 minutes, wash it off with water and a gentle cleanser.

Step 05: Apply your favorite moisturiser to seal in the goodness of the mask.

Step 06: Repeat this process at least twice a week.

2. Gram flour + curds face pack​

Step 01: Start by mixing together two tablespoons of gram flour with a tablespoon of curds in a bowl.

Step 02: Blend them together to form a paste and apply it all over your face and neck area.

Step 03: Allow it to dry completely and then gently scrub it off, massaging your skin with circular motions.

Step 04: Rinse your face with warm water and a gentle cleanser and then follow it up with a thick moisturiser suited for your skin type.

3. Orange juice + oatmeal face pack​

Step 01: Squeeze half a cup of fresh orange juice and put it in a bowl.

Step 02: Add two tablespoons of oatmeal and allow it to soak in the juice for a little while.

Step 03: Apply this mixture all over your face and neck area and let it rest for about 20 minutes.

Step 04: Wash it off with water and a gentle cleanser and apply your favourite moisturiser.

4. Aloe vera + cucumber face pack​

Step 01: Scrape out fresh aloe vera gel from the leaf (you can even use a packaged gel if it is 100% organic).

Step 02: Finely grate a cucumber and add about one tablespoon of this to the aloe gel. Mix both the ingredients well.

Step 03: Apply this mixture all over your face and neck area and leave it on for at least 30 minutes.

Step 04: Wash it off with cold water and a mild face wash.
